Football Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Singer Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' ten-match winning run was ended by Sunderland prior to the international break, however will the English top division leaders bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," stated football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, readers and a range of special visitors.
For week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' latest album, the new release, is available on the weekend.

Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a star of several charity football games over time - but he is not intending a serious return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other night for a friend of mine," he explained. "The team was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I still love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead."
Murs and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their coach.
"I will not push football on our kids but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football side," he added.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly was involved with a football club for a while too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our team for several seasons and had great fun with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Forecasts

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's comeback from injury but their offense is now stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this game will be quite tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
The singer's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their previous couple games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, the Hammers won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they do look strong again.
West Ham's only away win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's coach.
So, what on earth do I go with here - will it be the Hammers extending their streak under their manager, or the home side bouncing back?
I will go with Bournemouth, because I believe what happened against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their last four games.
My son advised me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
Thiago will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.
They have not had great success on the road this term, and Brighton are consistently decent at their stadium. The visitors will try to hit them on the break but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it in reality proves to be rather tight. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their last six games.
They have have lots of talent in their squad but it still feels like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.
As for Sunderland, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the end of October.
However I am not do that. Rather, I really need to carry on opposing the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Looking at the home side's home record, the sole team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's side will be absolutely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know the visitors are doing well and also that Fulham are on a bad streak... but they have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but could they be one of the teams who benefit from the {international break|
